More than 30 years ago, our founder, Aurelio Puerta Marín, after graduating in Economics from the University of Murcia (UMU), identified a market niche that was, until then, governed by traditional methods. With limited resources and a keen ability to spot opportunities, he started from scratch in the frozen meat trade, anticipating an emerging globalization.
As supply and demand grew, driven by advancements in communication and logistics, Aurelio Puerta began to build a team of professionals who shared his passion for innovation and service. Since then, APM Traders has continued to grow with the same energy that gave it origin, now integrating a consolidated business group and acting as a financing engine for other projects.
