APM IMPULSE SLU, operating under the APM TRADERS brand, is the leading company in Spain in the international trade of frozen meat. Founded in 1997 and based in Bullas (Murcia), we manage the entire commercial process, taking our products to customers on five continents.

Our Journey and Founding Vision

APM Traders was born from the desire to apply technological advances to the food sector.

In 1997, our founder, Aurelio Puerta Marín, after graduating in Economics from the University of Murcia (UMU), spotted a market niche still run by traditional methods. With scarce resources and a sharp eye for opportunity, he started from scratch in the frozen meat trade, anticipating an emerging globalisation.

As supply and demand grew, driven by advances in communication and logistics, Aurelio Puerta built a team of professionals who shared his passion for innovation and service. Since then, APM Traders has kept growing with the same energy; today it is part of a consolidated business group and acts as a funding engine for other projects.

We are moving towards an interconnected global system, with agile logistics, standardised regulations and reliable financial systems that drive the globalisation of the food and meat market.

Our customers are our reason for being. We focus on their requirements and pass them on to our producers, so we always respond with quality, service and competitiveness.

We offer a wide range of meat products, including:

Pork (white, Duroc and Iberian varieties).
Beef, lamb, goat and poultry.

Our ability to adapt to each customer’s specific needs is strengthened by APM PACKERS (Jarota Carnes), our cutting plant in Villanueva de Córdoba. There, we customise products to each customer’s exact requirements, ensuring an effective response tailored to the demands of the international market.

Sustainable Growth and Circular Economy

Although our business has diversified globally, with operations on practically every continent, we increasingly reaffirm our commitment to a circular economy. We aim to minimise long-distance transport and promote the development of the communities closest to our home country, where the heart of our business remains.

We have also broadened our reach by supplying raw materials for pet food production. In this way, we promote the use of by-products not intended for the traditional food chain, honouring every resource and giving value to every part of the animal, making full use of the carcass.
